It is our pleasure to invite you to the Joint 28th European Society for Microcirculation and 8th European Vascular Biology Organization Meeting (2015 ESM-EVBO Joint Meeting), which will take place in Pisa Conference Center in June 3-6, 2015.

We would like the 2015 ESM-EVBO Joint Meeting to be an opportunity to emphasize the translational aspect of the ESM and of EVBO and favor scientific interactions between researchers who work in different fields of microcirculation and vascular biology from basic sciences and clinical point of view.

Pisa is a city filled with beautiful architecture and cultural attractions which boasts an impressive history in the sciences. It is located in the heart of Italy and is easy to reach by plane, train or car. The city offers excellent conference infrastructure and the highly professional services required for the organization of the 2015 ESM-EVBO Joint Meeting. For these reasons Pisa can be considered an ideal location for an international medical congress of this dimension.

We are convinced that Pisa’s atmosphere will provide a pleasant background for an intensive exchange of views and opinions of distinguished scientists of Microcirculation and Vascular Biology, coming from Europe and from different countries all over the world.

With this belief we will be happy to welcome you in the city of Pisa in the occasion of the 2015 ESM-EVBO Joint Meeting

Together with the DEBS we are pleased to invite you to attend the 3rd Joint meeting of our two societies this fall. This meeting will be held at the former monastery "de Beukenhof" in Biezenmortel.

We are pleased to invite you to attend the 11th International Symposium on Resistance Arteries (ISRA): From Molecular Machinery to Clinical Challenges, which will be held from Sunday September 7th to Thursday September 11th 2014 at The Banff Centre, Banff, Alberta, Canada.
This conference builds on the many previous highly successful ISRA meetings, which have traditionally provided outstanding opportunities to discuss and exchange novel data and ideas related to resistance artery research. Themes of the symposium will include calcium imaging and EC coupling, clinical vascular pathology, unique vasculature, smooth muscle ion channels, genetic regulation of the arterial wall, adiposity and vascular control, cell-cell communication and endothelial structure and function.
The programme will include overview lectures and presentations selected on the basis of the submitted abstracts. We welcome abstracts for both oral and poster presentations to enable participation by all registrants. The presentation of data at this meeting will provide the opportunity for scientific interaction and discussion with a highly informed audience.
A number of Travel Awards and ten Best Poster Prizes will be awarded to participating trainees.
The conference activities will take place at The Banff Center, a unique hotel and conference centre set in one of Canada’s spectacular national parks. It is conveniently located near Calgary and offers recreational facilities as well as access to the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
